LADIES CONNECT
Ladies of all ages at Gateway South Osborne, we are connecting at Andrea Atkinson’s home on Saturday, February 22 @ 7pm!
We will continue with “Her Story”, as one of our own ladies shares her testimony, showing the power of God to enable us to be women of courage in our own personal lives. We will also hear about Rahab, a biblical example of a woman of courage.

YOUTH EVENT - "WHERE'S WALDO?" MALL HUNT
Our next youth event is a WHERE’S WALDO hunt at St Vital Mall!
Complete challenges and work as a team to find all of the “Waldos” hiding in different areas.
When: Sunday Feb 23rd after the church potluck! (If you'd rather do something else for lunch, no problem at all! But a potluck can be an awesome time to build community.) We'll meet at the mall around 1:15 and pickup will be at 3:00.
Where: Pickup and drop off are at St. Vital Mall outside of the movie theatre arcade. (If you need help arranging a ride, please let Hannah know! hannahg@gatewaywinnipeg.com )

MEN'S MEETING - ACT LIKE MEN
The men of Gateway South Osborne will be meeting on Tuesday evening, February 25, at 7pm in the Sanctuary. It will be an evening of visioning for Men's ministries at GSO, including our weekly sports night (currently floor hockey) and other times of connecting, prayer and outreach. Please join to help shape the future of this ministry and also, to encourage each other.
GSO FAMILY FORUM

GATEWAY 300 - MINISTRY & MISSION
This is the third and final part of the Gateway Path!
In Gateway 300, you will grow in your understanding of how you can be a blessing in ministry and mission for Jesus. You will have the opportunity to access a very thorough gifts and personality assessment tool to discover the way God uniquely designed you, and you will be equipped to share the Good News of Jesus more effectively with the people God has put in your life. The EMPOWER MINISTERS RETREAT is also part of Gateway 300 and we are offering it on April 4 & 5 this spring (here at Gateway South Osborne)!
Gateway 300 will help to open the door for ministry involvement, as well as to grow in opportunity for leadership at Gateway. Gateway 100 and 200 are prerequisites for Gateway 300.
Gateway 300 will be offered as a one day session on Saturday, March 8 from 9:30am to 3:00pm. There will be a $15 fee for lunch and course materials.

EMPOWER MINISTERS RETREAT
Too many Christians live powerless lives. But God has given supernatural gifts to us as believers to use for the benefit of the church and the expansion of God’s Kingdom. The Empower Ministers Retreat is the follow-up to the powerful Set Free! Retreat, and takes individuals on the next step of their journey with God through focusing on the ministry and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

HEARING GOD SEMINAR

If you have ever wondered if God still speaks today or how to hear His voice, then we invite you to join us for this six-week Hearing God Seminar! We will explore this question and more. It is one of the most important questions a Christian can explore and can help you experience and connect with God at an even deeper level.
So, be prepared for spiritual renewal and transformation. This course, as part of Gateway 100, will equip you with the tools and confidence to hear God consistently.

Prayer Summit
Join us for our next Prayer Summit (7-8pm)! The theme of this Prayer Summit will be Outreach, which ties nicely into the Christmas Outreach plans that are coming together.
Christmas Potluck
Join us for family and fellowship at our christmas potluck right after church on Sunday, December 1! The church is providing turkey, stuffing, and beverages. The potluck team asks that you contribute the following based on the initial of your last name :

SET FREE! Retreat
Set Free! Retreats are an opportunity to get free of things in our lives that hinder us in our spiritual growth. Wherever you are at in your walk with Jesus, these weekend events are of great value. They're like a spiritual tune-up. Classes provide you with an opportunity to practice what you are learning, and are a requirement for the completion of Gateway 200.
Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you are really my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)
A Set Free! Retreat is a weekend of meeting with Jesus through teachings on inner healing, deliverance, the Holy Spirit, and finding lasting freedom in Christ.
Our next Set Free! Retreat will be held on October 25 and 26 at Gateway North. Click HERE to register. The cost for the weekend if $65 and includes lunch on Saturday.
Ladies Connect
Ladies of all ages, our first Connect of the season is Saturday, October 19 @ 7pm in the sanctuary!
This year we are following the theme of “Women of Courage”. Join with us as we encourage each other in our faith journeys. We will share our stories with each other, and hear from the word of God as we exhort one another to be brave in our love for God, for each other, and for the world around us who need to know him.

BBQ and Live Music
Hosted by the Gateway South Osborne Green Team!
Join us on Tuesday, August 20 for a come-and-go family-friendly BBQ and live music from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. We’ll provide drinks, one hotdog, and a cookie per person at no charge. Additional items will be available for purchase with cash.
If you'd like to help with baking beforehand or assist during the event, please email us or sign up at church (sign-up sheet will be available at the back).
Hospitality and Prayer
During the month of August, we are encouraging our GSO church family to engage in hospitality and prayer. This is the greatest commandment, to love God and to love each other.

Hearing God Seminar

The Hearing God Seminar is a foundational equipping course and is meant to provide every believer with confidence that they can hear God speak to them. God speaks primarily to us through the Bible, His Word, but He also speaks in many other ways.
