A Set Free! Retreat is a weekend of meeting with Jesus through teachings on inner healing, deliverance, the Holy Spirit, and finding lasting freedom in Christ.

Deeper Conference
RENEW: Refresh & Transform
As young adults, this season of life has a lot of unknowns, choices, and possible paths. How do we discern God's will? What does it mean to be a Christian, offering ourselves and our lives to God? How do we hear God? What does it mean to be renewed and transformed?
At Deeper 2026 we want to dive into all of these questions, as well as spend time in worship and community. We are expectant and waiting to see what God has in store for us together this year - and we cannot wait to see you there.
We have called our conference “Deeper” with the Heart to connect our Salt & Light Central Region’s Young Adults to go “Deeper” and grow in their faith through prayer, worship, teaching, and fellowship. We want to dive deep into topics relevant to young adults to push them to go “Deeper” in their relationship with Jesus.

Carols by Candlelight
Our vision for this event is simple: to create a space where families can slow down, remember the heart of Christmas — the wonder of Christ’s birth —and join with believers around the world in celebrating the joy of His coming through carols and the Christmas Story (and some baked goodies, too!). Whether you’re new to Gateway or have celebrated with us for years, we hope Carols by Candlelight becomes a moment that anchors your Christmas in hope and wonder.
We welcome volunteers of all gifts and ages (6+) to help bring this evening to life. Some roles include bakers, readers, and greeters. If you’re interested in helping on Christmas Eve or leading up to the event, please contact Alyssa Ward (alyssaw@gatewaywinnipeg.com).

Family Forum
Join us for our Family Forum on November 20 at 7:00pm. It is a time for our church family to come together in unity, transparency, and encouragement as we look ahead to all that God is doing in and through our community. Rooted in the spirit of 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing”, this gathering is designed to strengthen our shared mission and vision.
During the forum, we will:
Share the proposed 2026 Budget
Provide an update on the consultation process
Highlight important upcoming events
This is more than a meeting—it's a moment to connect, celebrate, and align as a church family. Your presence and participation matter. Let’s continue building one another up as we move forward together in faith.
Men's Meeting
Dave Perry will lead a bible discussion, and we will have sharing and prayer.
We believe that when men come together to seek God, something powerful happens. In a world that often isolates and distracts, we are called to gather—to grow in faith, build one another up, and pursue Christ-centered purpose together.
As Colossians 3:16 (ESV) urges us: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” This is more than a call to study—it's a call to community, to accountability, and to worship.
Our vision is to see men strengthened through the Word, sharpened through honest conversation, and empowered through united prayer. We meet not just to consume truth, but to live it out—encouraging one another, standing shoulder to shoulder, and becoming the men God has called us to be.
Together, we lead better, love deeper, and live stronger—not in isolation, but in brotherhood.
Baptisms!
We are offering Baptisms on November 9!
Why get baptized? This is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ and an act of obedience to Jesus' command to be baptized. Colossians 2:12 says that baptism is a symbolic act of your new life in Christ, “having been buried with [Christ] in baptism... you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God”.
If you are interested in being baptized, or would like more information, we offer a time of teaching to share the importance of this faith milestone.
To register, or to ask for more information, sign up HERE.
We will plan the teaching time after people have registered.
Deadline for signup is Sunday, October 26.
Prayer Summit
We meet together monthly in the church sanctuary for corporate prayer, the first Thursday of the month.
At the heart of our community is a deep belief in the transforming power of united prayer. We gather not only to lift our voices to God, but to lift each other up—strengthening one another in faith, hope, and love. As Scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
When we pray together for common needs and also for the needs of the world around us, we create space for God to move among us—healing wounds, renewing faith, and stirring hearts toward good deeds. Corporate prayer is a sacred rhythm that binds us in unity, encourages perseverance, and reminds us that we are never alone.
When we pray together, something always happens! God listens, God moves, and God unites us for His purpose. Let us be a people marked by our shared faith and the power of prayerful community.

Recalibrate 2025
The Summit Church - West Fargo, ND (map)
Recalibrate (verb): To carefully assess and adjust something, so it can accurately accomplish its intended purpose.
This year’s conference focus is: RECALIBRATING EVANGELISM with Evangelist Dr. Daniel Shayestah, a former Iranian Muslim revolutionary who was transformed through faith in Christ and has seen thousands of people come to Jesus through his ministry.
We believe the Lord is challenging our Salt & Light Central family of churches regarding how we can more effectively share the gospel, share the love of Christ with those around us and more effectively make disciples of all nations.
