Family Forum
The elders and SODT invite the church family to a Family Forum on Sunday, June 7, at 7:00 PM.
As part of a healthy season of reflection, the leadership team will share updates and future plans regarding the following agreements:
We agree that God desires to transition GSO’s Senior Leadership to the next generation, and that Norm and Niki are both integral to this process.
We have a heart for the next generation and are praying about who God may be calling to lead the church in the future, and what those timelines might be.
We agree GSO needs more than 2 elders, ideally a team of 3-5, as soon as possible.
We agree that questions about male and female leadership need to be settled, as the current lack of clarity contributes to frustration and uncertainty.
This is a time for transparent conversation, unity, and looking forward together.
The evening will include a Q&A session, and we welcome you to submit your questions in advance HERE.
All are encouraged to attend as we seek God's direction for our future in openness and faith.
Young Adults - Open Space
Join Young Adults from across our region as we worship and fellowship together.
We will welcome many young adults into our own home church!
Potluck Sunday
We invite you to join us at our May 31 potluck.
We aren’t just gathering to eat; we are gathering to live out the example of the early church. As it says in Acts 2:46, they broke bread in their homes with 'glad and generous hearts.'
We want our table to be a place where we experience that same joy, celebrate our community, and nourish both our bodies and our spirits together.
Ladies Connect "Empowered"
Join us for a creative and encouraging evening together.
We’ll learn how to paint a watercolor butterfly while Andrea shares about the transforming work of the Holy Spirit—true metamorphosis in our lives.

Join us for connection, creativity, and encouragement. All skill levels welcome!

KIDS MINISTRY - New Series "Power of the Spirit"
God promises the Holy Spirit to all who trust in Jesus.
There is no "junior-sized" version for children. The same power that raised Christ from the dead fills and leads young believers today. Through stories of the early church, we will discover how the Spirit dwells within them, providing strength, help, and boldness.
Join us Sunday mornings, April 19 to May 24, as we discover together the Holy Spirit’s work in every generation.
Ladies Connect - Commissioned
First to the Tomb, First to the Truth - Commissioned
April 17 @ 7pm (in the sanctuary)
On the first Easter morning, women came to the tomb in grief—but instead encountered the risen Christ. Jesus entrusted them with the first announcement of the resurrection.
Join us for an evening of testimony, worship, and encouragement as we explore the courage, hope, and calling found in being the first witnesses to the risen King.
Baptisms
We are offering Baptisms on April 12!
Why get baptized? This is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ and an act of obedience to Jesus' command to be baptized. Colossians 2:12 says that baptism is a symbolic act of your new life in Christ, “having been buried with [Christ] in baptism... you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God”.
If you are interested in being baptized, or would like more information, we offer a time of teaching to share the importance of this faith milestone.
To register, or to ask for more information, sign up HERE. We will plan the teaching time after people have registered.
Deadline for signup is Sunday, March 29.
Easter Sunday Service
You’re Invited to Our Easter Sunday Service:
Resurrection Sunday, a celebration of victory.
On this day, we rejoice in Christ’s triumph over death and the grave. The stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty. And hope was made alive. Through His resurrection, Jesus declared that sin does not win, death does not have the final word, and despair is not our destiny.
Because He lives, we are invited into restored relationship with God — a relationship marked by peace in place of fear, hope in place of uncertainty, love that never fails, and faith for whatever the future holds.
We would love to celebrate Easter Sunday with you.
Good Friday Service
You’re Invited to Our Good Friday Service!
This Good Friday, we invite you to join us as we pause and remember the cross.
On that day, Jesus willingly gave His life — bearing sin’s curse so that we could be redeemed, restored, and brought back into fellowship with God. The cross was not the end of the story. It was the turning point of history. Through His sacrifice, the way was opened for forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life for all who choose to come to Him.
Together, we will reflect on the depth of His love, the cost of our redemption, and the hope secured for us — not only for eternity, but for our lives here and now.
We would be honored to have you with us.
Easter Seder
Join the Epp/Ward Small Group for an evening of fellowship and a potluck meal at an Easter Seder.
This evening is family-friendly and will include interactive scripture readings, a potluck dinner and worship.
For those unfamiliar, a Seder is a traditional Passover meal that retells the Exodus story using worship and scripture. As Christians, we choose to observe Seder the Thursday before Easter in remembrance of the Last Supper and the promise of Jesus’ resurrection.
We kindly ask that you sign up to attend by March 23.
Please indicate if you’d like to help with readings, worship, or setup.

Deeper Conference
RENEW: Refresh & Transform
As young adults, this season of life has a lot of unknowns, choices, and possible paths. How do we discern God's will? What does it mean to be a Christian, offering ourselves and our lives to God? How do we hear God? What does it mean to be renewed and transformed?
At Deeper 2026 we want to dive into all of these questions, as well as spend time in worship and community. We are expectant and waiting to see what God has in store for us together this year - and we cannot wait to see you there.
We have called our conference “Deeper” with the Heart to connect our Salt & Light Central Region’s Young Adults to go “Deeper” and grow in their faith through prayer, worship, teaching, and fellowship. We want to dive deep into topics relevant to young adults to push them to go “Deeper” in their relationship with Jesus.
